Village at Proprietors Green Opens on South Shore, Introducing Innovative Senior Living to Boston Area
Village at ProprietorsGreen, a luxury senior rental community developed by Norwell-based Welch Healthcare and Retirement Group, in partnership with National Development Group, has opened in Marshfield, Massachusetts. Despite an economic climate that has stalled many development projects, Village at Proprietors Green was completed on schedule, and opened with 40 percent of its independent living apartment homes reserved. The flexibility of rental apartments for seniors, combined with innovative activities and programs such as an on-site theater and educational opportunities, is being celebrated as a “New Generation of Senior Living.”
